Presne pred rokom som si užívala voňavú jar v krajine, ktorá sa rozlohou aj počtom obyvateľstva podobá Slovensku – v Dánsku. Počas jarných mesiacov som si v mestečkách ostrova Jutland všímala štýl obliekania dánskych žien. Testovala som hypotézu, či je severská móda taká nudná a chladná, a či aj mňa nejak v odievaní ovplyvní.
One year ago at this time I used to enjoy lovely spring time in the country, which is in size and population similar to Slovakia – in Denmark. During these spring months I tried to check the dressing style of Danish women in the island of Jutland. I wanted to test the hypotesis, if northern fashion is really that boring and cold (and if it could have an influence on my fashion style).
Predovšetkým mladí ľudia zo zahraničia, študujúci v Dánsku, o jeho obyvateľstve tvrdia, že Dáni a Dánky sú v mnohom dokonalí, no v rámci sociálnych väzieb sú odmeraní a chladní. Neznámych ľudí si nepripúšťajú k telu (teda pokiaľ nie sú spoločensky unavení po desiatom pohári piva).
Ak máte napozerané filmové diela dánskeho velikána Larsa von Triera alebo iné kľúčové filmy, natočené podľa dánskeho manifestu Dogma 95, viete – o čom hovorím.
V Kodani je ponuka umenia a kultúry nevyčerpateľná. Ak máte booknuté správne stránky na Facebooku – eventy na zaujímavé podujatia vám naskakujú v profile každú hodinu. A to potom obhliadku príliš malej Malej morskej víly, či čoraz častejšie vládou ohrozovaného mesta v meste Christiania môžete spokojne vynechať.
Mostly young people from abroad studying in Denmark use to say about its citizens, that Danes are perfect in many ways, but in social relationships they are distant and cold. They don’t let the strangers comer (the only exception could be the social exhaustion after tenth glass of beer).
If you know popular movies from the master of Danish cinematography Lars von Trier or other key movies (shot according to the Danish Dogma 95 manifesto) – you can imagine what I am talking about.
In Copenhagen, the offer of arts and culture is inexhaustible. If you book the correct page on Facebook, interesting events will appear in your profile every hour. And then you can omit visiting the a bit too small Little Mermaid, or Christiania – the city in the city which is increasingly threatened by the government.
Dospievajúca dánska mládež má vo svojom „to do“ liste len niekoľko položiek: Odsťahovať sa čo najskôr od rodičov do veľkého mesta (čo je v tomto prípade: metropola Kodaň na ostrove Zealand, Aarhus na Jutlande alebo Odense na Funene), alebo odísť na úplnú samotu (a tam sa slobodne venovať poľnohospodárstvu či umeniu).
V rámci odievania u severských mladých ľudí prevláda už vyše roka hipsterská mánia (aj ja občas podľahnem) – z farieb však stále prevláda šedá a ďalšie zemité (na naše pomery: smutné až vyšumelé). Vhodnou kombináciou možno dosiahnuť pritiahnutie objektívov aj pohľadov náhodných okoloidúcich.
Podľa módneho diktátu v strednej Európe sú legíny „out“, nie však v Škandinávii. U väčšiny tunajších dievčat je to samozrejmosť, dokonca nutnosť: pod sukňu, šaty či kraťasy. K tomu remienkové sandále alebo balerínky a navrch opäť populárne trenčkoty (plendavé baloňáky) prírodných farieb.
There are not many tasks in the “to do” list of Danish youth adults. They want to move away from their parents as soon as possible to the big city (which includes the island metropolis of Copenhagen on Zealand, Aarhus on Jutland or Odense on Funen), or to live completely alone (and freely dedicate themselves to agriculture or the arts).
The hipster style is the most popular trend among northern young people more than one year (sometimes I also fall into). They prefer to put on themselves greyish and other ground colors (in our country we can call them sad or old-fashioned). But if there is good combination of styles and colors – the lenses of cameras and human eyes will react on it!
According the fashion dictate of central Europe: the legins are out. But not in Scandinavia! It is everyday component of the clothing of Danish girls – they use to wear them under the skirt, dress or shorts (in combination with sandals or balerinas and popular earth-colored trench-coats).
Aj ja som sa prichytila pri tom, že si v dánskom second-hande vyberám šatičky v regále s oblečením šedej farby. Našťastie som sa doma dostatočne pripravila na svoju polročnú severskú stáž a priniesla si tam veľa tyrkysových a modrých kúskov. Čiapka, šál a pančuchy museli byť u mňa vždy inej, ako pochmúrnej farby.
Šatôčky zo sekáča síce mali v sebe šedé lemovanie, ale nechýbala okrem čiernej modrá farba do tretice. Všetko zachraňovala modrá športová bundička (sestra ju vyhrabala v kežmarskom sekáči asi pred siedmimi rokmi) s bielymi a čiernymi pásikmi. Možno ma teda naďalej považovať za bojovníčku proti módnej šedi v slovenských i dánskych uliciach.
During my study stay in Denmark I realized, that I have been searching for dresses in the section of second hand with clothes of grey colors. Fortunatelly, I well prepared myself at home and I brought with me many turquoise and blue pieces of clothes. Cap, scarf and tights had to be all the time in light color (not in greyish sad color).
My dress from second hand consisted of grey lining, but with addition of blue color (in tripple combination with black). Everything saved my blue sportif jacket with black and white stripes which my sister bought in a Slovak second hand seven years ago. So it is possible to call me the fighter against the greyish mood in Danish, but also in Slovak streets.
